Audi vehicles are no strangers to the silver screen, having recently featured prominently in numerous Marvel movie franchises. However, this May, Audi vehicles are venturing beyond the realm of costumes and superhero capes and boldly going where few have gone before with a role in the much-anticipated continuation of the Alien movie franchise, Alien: Covenant
Now, while we won't be seeing any outer space antics with this film like an Audi R8 racing through the Milky Way, as awesome as that would be, we will be seeing some rather exciting cameos of a different kind from Audi. To compliment the sci-fi theme of the Alien films, Audi is rolling out its Audi lunar quattro, a fully functioning moon rover robot prototype. This robot is actually sees pretty significant usage in the movie, deployed by the space-faring team as an initial scouting device to probe the planet surface for unseen dangers. And in that regard, it proves to be a truly capable space explorer in its own right, featuring its own quattro all-wheel drive technology and a solar-powered eTron motor to boot.
