Prepare for inclement weather. You should make sure your vehicle is ready for snow, ice and cold weather. Check your tires, your windshield wipers and your battery at a minimum, and have anything that doesn't look right checked out at our Audi service center in Rockville, MD. Pack an emergency kit. You should keep an emergency kit in your car or truck stocked with things such as blankets, extra clothes, food, water, a first-aid kit and a flashlight. Travel during off hours. If you can leave early in the morning or drive during the middle of the day, it will help you miss the worst of traffic and make it easier to travel.
