Serving Rockville, MD

As the year's best-selling Audi, the 2018 Q5 is a tough act to follow. For the new model year, there are upgrades and extras that will make it worth investigating the 2019 Audi Q5. Shoppers will be interested in new standards, new packages, and new trim.

Performance

For 2018, the Q5 gained better performance and greater efficiency. This continues for 2019 with a four-cylinder engine that generates V6-like power. Q5 turbo drivers command 252 horsepower and 273-lb-ft of low-rev torque. The 3-liter V6 engine on the SQ5 generates 354 horsepower, making it an appealing choice for driving enthusiasts. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission controls the Q5 while an eight-speed automatic does the honors for the SQ5. Audi Quattro is standard, ensuring that drivers have the all-weather traction they need.

Appearance

The two models are fronted by the distinctive Audi Singleframe grille. Full LED headlights can dress up the classy exterior with their distinctive daytime good looks and nighttime light signature. Handsome 18" 5-double-spoke-dynamic design wheels can be upgraded to 19-inch wheels with a 5-arm-wing design. New aluminum trim around the windows is one way you can tell the 2019 models from the 2018 ones. Furthermore, a new Black optics package is available on 2019 Q5 Premium Plus and Prestige editions. Dressy accents include Audi 20-inch sport wheels, Matte Black roof rails, and Titanium Black window trim and mirrors. Regardless of your choice, you'll find that the 2018 and 2019 Q5 SUVs are sporty rides that earn their luxury moniker. The interior is dressed in leather for a classic look. Modern technology surrounds the driver with helpful aids. A new 7-inch gauge-cluster display is standard on the 2019. The Audi Virtual Cockpit adds a 12.3-inch display behind the steering wheel. White ambient lighting can be upgraded to Maritime Blue and Impulse Red.

Features

The two model years are offered in Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige editions. The 2019 SQ5 also comes in a new Premium edition. This model has Alcantara leather seats and a tri-zone automatic climate control system. The 2018 and 2019 Premium edition has an infotainment display with ten speakers, a rearview camera, HD Radio, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The leather seats are eight-way power chairs. For 2019, these chairs also have a power-heat function. A power liftgate lets you into the generous cargo hold. Safety standards include Pre Sense Basic and Pre Sense City. Shoppers will want to check out new safety technologies such as the rear traffic assist, vehicle exit assist, Audi side assist, forward collision detection and rear collision detection.
