The Q8 is a luxury model with aerodynamic, athletic styling. It is designed with chrome accents underscoring the sculpted door panels and outlining the side windows and grille. The grille's mesh pattern includes a fascinating combination of horizontal and vertical elements. Flanking the grille, the horizontal LED headlights have a sharp-cornered design. They are mounted over the powerful air inlets at the bottom of the front fascia. Some of the exterior features that are offered with select or all Q8 trims are power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors with a heated element, turn-signal animation, dual-pane window glass, soft-close doors, and laser headlights.

These features include Audi Connect, lane keeping, dual touch display screens for the infotainment system, adaptive cruise control, wireless smartphone app connectivity, leather upholstery, a four-zone climate control system, a heated steering wheel, intersection assistance, heated seats, massaging front seats, a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 23 speakers, a wireless phone charger and a night vision camera.
