 What's New for the 2019 Audi A3?
Minimal changes were made to the Audi A3 in 2019. The few changes that were made were designed to add even more convenience and style to the different trim levels. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard on all trim levels from Premium up. When you move up to the Premium Plus trim, you now get a wireless charging pad, signal booster, and full LED headlights. Those who go with the Prestige trim will also get a self-steering parking feature. Changes were also made to the optional Convenience Package, which now includes high-gloss aluminum window surrounds, LED interior lighting, and Blind Spot Monitoring. Consumers no longer have the option of the A3 E-tron Sportback plug-in hybrid hatchback.
There are two engine options for the 2019 Audi A3. The first is a 40 TFSI® 2.0L four cylinder that produces 184-horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. This is in the front-wheel-drive versions of the A3. There is also a 45 TFSI version that offers drivers 228-horsepower as well as 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes in models of the A3 that are equipped with quattro all-wheel-drive. Both engine options are paired with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Premium trim of the 2019 A3 comes very well-equipped. Coming standard is leather seating surfaces, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a rearview camera. Moving up through the trim levels adds more and more luxurious features. The Premium Plus gives you a Parking System that includes acoustic sensors in the front and rear. It also gives you 8-way power adjustable front seats, the Audi Advanced Key, and dynamic turn signals. The top-of-the-line Prestige gives drivers the Audi Virtual Cockpit, MMI Navigation featuring voice control, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, and a Bang and Olufsen Sound System with 14 speakers.
